ONE on ONE

ONE on ONE started in 2012 to reduce poor academic performance and school dropout by pairing at-risk students with community leaders who become their mentors. The program needed to tell its model, research and stories to bring in more schools.

A site in Spanish and English that walks through the whole program:

• what it is and how mentoring works;
• the action research that measures its effectiveness;
• the implementation structure and the 3 certifications for mentors;
• student success stories;
• the ONE on ONE documentary;
• a form for schools to request a presentation.

The site supports an award-winning program and its documentary, directed by EMMY® winner Noel Quiñones and endorsed by actor Esai Morales. It also gives new schools a direct channel to bring in the mentoring program.
