A Shopify online store selling electronic locks, deadbolts and safes to homes across Puerto Rico.
The challenge
Kwikset is a leading brand in residential locks. For Puerto Rico it needed a direct sales channel, in Spanish, where anyone could choose, buy and have the product delivered at home, without relying on a hardware store.
The catalog mixes very different products —digital locks with fingerprint, code and Wi-Fi, deadbolts, levers, knobs and safes— and it had to be organized so shoppers quickly understand what to buy.
The solution
A Shopify store built to sell:
a catalog organized by type: electronic, handleset, deadbolt, lever, knob and safes;
featured deals on the home page and a dedicated promotions section;
cart, search and a customer account with orders and profile, for faster repeat purchases;
free door-to-door shipping from US$50, and an installation service sold as a store product;
policy pages, contact and a newsletter sign-up.
Results
Kwikset Puerto Rico has its own online store, open 24/7, where customers buy from their phone or computer and get the order at home. “Say goodbye to keys” is now a few clicks away.
